Methods of Giving
Valley Medical Center accepts gifts of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, life insurance proceeds and gifts from wills/estates. Gifts of equities, real estate or other appreciated assets may have additional tax advantages for the donor; Valley encourages donors to seek the advice of their professional advisors when considering charitable gifts.
Cash gifts can be made securely online through our partnership with the Renton Community Foundation (RCF). Or, if you prefer, a check (payable to RCF – Valley Medical Center Fund, please) can be sent to Valley Medical Center, Development Department, 400 S. 43rd St., Renton, WA 98055.

Contributions are also frequently made through participation in one of VMC’s special events. The Charity Golf Tournament is Valley Medical Center's major fundraising event, generally held in late summer. The tournament, founded in 1994, is played locally and has supported Children's Services, including Children's Therapy, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pet-Assisted Therapy, or SECAMP.
In Summer 2008, Valley held its inaugural Hope at Valley fund raiser to support our Cancer Services program. This program offers comprehensive services and is committed to providing state-of-the-art treatments in a respectful manner. Overall, more than 17,000 visits to our Cancer Services program took place in 2006 and more than 8,000 patients within the program are currently living with cancer.
