L'Oreal earned a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Washington and a second bachelor's degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University. She holds the degree of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in nurse-midwifery from the University of Washington. She is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) licensed by the American Midwifery Certification Board and is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) in the State of Washington. In 2016, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.
During her time at Johns Hopkins University, she was a doula and leader with the Birth Companions program and was selected for the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Fellowship funded by the Helene Fuld Trust. Prior to joining Valley Medical Center, she worked in fertility for three years.
Professional interests include provider recruitment, fertility preservation for patients with cancer, LGBTQ health, and access to holistic healthcare.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and trying new restaurants.
