Born and raised in Seattle, I became interested in midwifery after working in a reproductive health center during and after college. As a midwife, I see childbirth as the most special moment in women's (and families') lives. It is my complete privilege to participate in those sacred moments, and to help nurture a safe, healthy pregnancy along the way. My goal is to always be supportive, informative, nurturing and kind.
My professional interests include family planning, teen pregnancy, physiologic birth and mindfulness-based stress reduction. I strongly believe that the mind and body are intricately connected, so I see my job as supporting both the physical and mental health of my patients.

In my free time, I love taking walks through Lincoln Park, cooking, practicing yoga, spending time with my family and friends, and exploring our most beautiful Washington state and beyond.
