Dr. Wes Arlein is board-certified in both general and vascular surgery. He earned his bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.  He has been with Valley Medical Center since 2002, and soon after arriving introduced endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm to Valley and restarted VMC's Wound Care Clinic, where he serves as Medical Director. Dr. Arlein also spearheaded the change to minimally invasive surgery for varicose veins and peripheral arterial disease. He enjoys distance running and spending time with his family.
