J Scott Bowen, MD attended Brigham Young University and received his medical degree at the Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California - San Diego and his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology. His internship was in surgery and completed at the University of Utah.
Dr. Bowen received his board certification from the American Board of Radiology in 1983. He is also a member of the Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Western Angiographic and Interventional Society, and the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional. Prior to coming to Vantage Radiology in 1986, Dr. Bowen was director of visceral/interventional radiology at Harborview Medical Center and he has served as Chief of Staff and Chief Medical Officer at UW Medicine - Valley Medical Center. He is also a clinical assistant professor at the University of Washington.
