Dr. Byrd earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio and completed her Pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Before coming to Valley Medical Center, she worked in a private pediatric clinic in TX.

Dr.Byrd enjoys taking care of children of all ages, from birth to young adulthood,and establishing strong relationships with her patients and their families in order to provide the best care possible. Her interests include preventative medicine, parent education, promoting healthy lifestyles and adolescent medicine.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Byrd enjoys traveling, training for sprint triathlons, and spending time with her friends and family.
