      Valley Fitness Center is proud to host Prenatal Water Fitness Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15 PM-7:00 PM for 4 week sessions. This class incorporates low-impact conditioning, strength training and flexibility exercises, allowing expectant mothers the ability to continue their fitness & wellness routine with minimal risk. Hydrostatic pressure and buoyancy components of exercise are just two of the benefits of exercising during pregnancy. Expectant Moms are welcome to enjoy the Therapy Pool after class. Please arrive 15:00 early to your first session to complete your enrollment and become acquainted to the facility. Note: high-risk pregnancy requires medical clearance.       Bodyworks — A Toolkit For Teens And Strong Families

      BodyWorks is a health education program designed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The program provides parents and caregivers of students ages 9-14 with tools to help improve family eating and physical activity. The materials include a recipe book, food and fitness journals, and other health materials. Some of the class topics include portion sizes, reading food labels, physical activity, the "MyPlate" food model for healthy eating, limiting screen time, healthy snack ideas and meal planning. Hands on activities and a smoothie break help engage class participants. The free one evening class for parents/caregivers and their students meets in the Medical Arts Center, room E/F, at Valley Medical Center in Renton.

      Valley Fitness Center is proud to host Prenatal Water Fitness Classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15 PM-7:00 PM for 4 week sessions. This class incorporates low-impact conditioning, strength training and flexibility exercises, allowing expectant mothers the ability to continue their fitness & wellness routine with minimal risk. Hydrostatic pressure and buoyancy components of exercise are just two of the benefits of exercising during pregnancy. Expectant Moms are welcome to enjoy the Therapy Pool after class. Please arrive 15:00 early to your first session to complete your enrollment and become acquainted to the facility. Note: high-risk pregnancy requires medical clearance. Would you like to connect with other families who have had a similar experience? You are invited to attend the perinatal loss support group at Valley Medical Center. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment that will give you comfort and hope for the future.This parent group is member-led by those who have traveled a similar journey who may offer insight into what you are experiencing. While peer support does not replace professional counseling services offered by trained professionals, this group is free of charge and open to any parents in the community who need a safe place to share their stories.
