Parent Support Groups
The excitement of becoming a parent usually brings concerns. Parent support groups offer new parents a valuable resource to meet other parents and have children meet and play with other children their age. If you have questions about what other parents may do about sleeping, soothing, feeding, teething, starting solids, or other questions, attend one of the support groups. The parent support groups are coordinated by Valley Medical Center's lactation consultants.
Parent-Baby Support Group: For parents of newborns to 6 months in age. Meets every Wednesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Parent-Crawler Group: For parents of children aged 6 months to 1 year. Meets every Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Parent-Toddler Group: For parents with children aged 1 to 2 years. Meets every Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
