RENTON, WA - It’s a Sunday morning and the ankle you twisted during your Saturday soccer game is swollen and painful. Save the wait and expense of the Emergency Room – today marks the opening of Valley Medical Center’s Renton Landing Urgent Care. The 4600 square-foot clinic provides walk-in, extended hour access for non-emergency, acute illness and injury care that is either beyond the scope or availability of a primary care practice.
“We are very pleased to open a fifth Urgent Care clinic in our District, and we are especially excited to have it located at The Landing in Renton,” said Paul Larson, Senior Vice President, Valley Medical Center Clinic Network. “Urgent Care is not intended to replace hospitals, but it does serve an important function, eliminating the need for non-emergency visits to the ER, and often providing faster and more affordable treatments. We hope to play a vital role in the health of The Landing community and beyond.”
Renton Landing Urgent Care clinicians are available to see patients, from infants to the elderly, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 8:00pm; Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. The clinic is located at 1205 North 10th Street, Suite A, at The Landing in Renton. For more information about the clinic please call 425.656.4211.
