Valley Medical Center Earns a GHX Best 50 Customer Award

International healthcare technology and services company, Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), has named Valley Medical Center (VMC) a 2012 GHX Best 50 Customer award winner. VMC earned this recognition for improving operational performance and driving down costs through supply chain automation.

VMC works collaboratively with GHX to improve operational performance, control contract spending, increase vendor connections and automate purchase orders and invoices.

To select the Best 50, GHX looked at more than 4,000 hospitals in the U.S. and Canada currently connected to the GHX electronic trading exchange and identified top performers on a number of key metrics including purchasing and invoice volume, exception rates, exchange utilization and trading partner connections.

Last spring VMC received the company’s GHXcellence Award for U.S. Provider of the Year, in the small to mid-size facility category.
