Group Fitness Class Descriptions 

Fitness Studio Capacity: 12  

Basic Step:  This class integrates bench stepping, basic choreography and upbeat music to create a fun, low impact cardiovascular workout.  Modify the intensity by lowering or adding height to your step.  Moderate to High Intensity.

Fit for Life:  This group strength class incorporates a challenging combination of cardio intervals, total body strength training, balance and flexibility. Moderate to High Intensity.  

FUNctional Fitness: This class is perfect for older adults working to maintain function, preserve independence and prevent falls. We will utilize fitness tools such as bands, steps and balls in order to enhance balance, stability, coordination and reaction time. Low intensity.  

Gentle Yoga: Seated and lying postures facilitate improved strength, balance and flexibility. Minimal standing required; modifications available. Low intensity.  

Mat Pilates: Mat Pilates incorporates posture and breath with challenging exercises, allowing you to improve core strength and muscular alignment. Low to Moderate Intensity. 

Strength Circuit: This circuit-style workout incorporates basic strength training, core and interval training in a timed workout. Moderate to High Intensity.  

Yoga: This Iyengar style yoga class is alignment based, keeping you safe in poses while you open and strengthen your body, building strength and flexibility. Low to Moderate Intensity.  

Zumba®: Ditch the workout and join the party! This fun and easy to follow cardio dance class combines high-energy and motivating Latin and International music with combinations that make you feel like you are on the dance floor. Low to Moderate Intensity.  

Class capacity is limited on a first come, first served basis. 

Kinesis® Class Descriptions  

Class Capacity: 8 

Inspired by nature and science, the Kinesis Wall® combines form with functionality. The smoothness of the equipment is engineered for strength, flexibility and balance focused workouts.  These circuit- style classes take place in the Fitness Center Gym and incorporate the Kinesis Wall®. Small classes allow for attention to technique and posture.  Kinesis Wall® Orientation recommended.  

Kinesis® Circuit: Timed stations include cardio intervals, core strengthening and total body strength moves. Moderate to High Intensity.  

Kinesis® Flow: Improve your mind-body connection, utilizing principles of breath and posture. Moves are focused on balance, flexibility and core strength. Low to Moderate Intensity.   

Kinesis® Step: The perfect combination of low-impact interval training of step aerobics and functional strength exercises on the Kinesis®, a class may include a V-Step, Lunge + Chest Press and a Squat + Row. Moderate to High Intensity.
