Learn more about participating in clinical trials from this video prepared by The Center for Information & Study On Clinical Research Participation.

Through Valley Medical Center's Clinical Research Program, physicians are able to offer new and innovative treatment options to patients who have not achieved desirable results from traditional therapies and treatments for certain diseases and conditions. By bringing new and innovative medications, devices and approaches to the patient before it is available on the market, researchers are able to more rapidly develop advancements in medical treatments that have the potential to directly benefit patients and future generations living with disease.

The Clinical Research Program conducts research trials in cancer, neurology (including epilepsy, stroke and headaches), pulmonary, cardiology, and many other conditions. These efforts bring together both globally renowned scientists and pharmaceutical companies and clinical Investigators across many diseases. VMC's research program is dedicated to educating the public and finding the best studies to fit our community's needs and interests.

Oversight

VMC physicians have over 30 years experience in conducting clinical trials. We assure safety by only conducting studies approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and VMC's own, internal safety committee: the Research Oversight Committee (ROC). Both the IRB and the ROC must approve a study before research may commence at Valley Medical Center.

How to enroll in a clinical trial

The most important people on our research team are our volunteers. Without our volunteer patients, we would not have new medicines or devices.  If you are interested in giving our generation and future generations hope for a better tomorrow, please contact our Clinical Research Coordinator, Cynthia Mendenhall at 425.656.4076 or by email to learn more about a trial that may fit your personal situation.  See a list of our enrolling studies.

Sponsors

To our Sponsors we offer reliable data with experienced and dedicated staff. For more information, please contact our Clinical Research Coordinator, Cynthia Mendenhall at 425.656.4076 or by email.
