Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehab patients gradually improve their fitness level under close medical supervision.

Valley Medical Center's Cardiac Rehab services offer medically supervised and individualized exercise programs for people who have had a heart attack, heart surgery, angina, stent placement, angioplasty, or other heart problems. Our cardiac rehab health professionals assist each patient in setting goals and monitoring progress on a daily basis. A cardiac rehab nurse specialist and an exercise specialist work with each patient and closely monitor electrocardiogram tracings and blood pressures during exercise sessions.

Risk factor and lifestyle modifications are important to successful cardiac rehabilitation. Health information classes are available. For more information, contact VMC's Cardiac Rehab department at 425.228.3440, ext. 4991. A referral from your physician is required. Cardiac rehab is covered by Medicare and most insurance companies.
