GoldenCare at Valley Medical Center
What is GoldenCare?
GoldenCare is a health and wellness membership program for adults 62 and older. The program offers a Medicare information center that gives you access to individual counseling and assistance to unravel the paperwork maze of Medicare, supplemental insurance, and other medical bills.
Valley Medical Center's senior services advisor is available to meet with you by appointment to personally help answer your questions about medical bills, Medicare, health insurance, or services and health promotion programs offered through Valley Medical Center. As a GoldenCare member, you also receive other benefits, such as close, dedicated parking and a host of discounts. Click here to download a GoldenCare application. 
GoldenCare Memberships
If you would like to take advantage of GoldenCare benefits, you can start by becoming an Introductory member. Introductory members receive GoldenCare benefits free for one year. After one year you may continue with the program as a GoldenCare Lifetime member.
Lifetime membership never expires. There is a one-time fee of $50 per person, or $75 per couple. If you are a resident homeowner in the hospital district, primarily comprised of Renton, Kent, Tukwila and Covington, you may use the Valley Dividend to waive that fee.

Medicare Information Center: GoldenCare's Medicare Information Center includes
- Access to SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors)
- Insurance counseling

- Medicare information/seminars

- Health insurance claims assistance from the Medicare Information Center
- Discounts at Valley Medical Center's gift shops

Photo Identification Cards
GoldenCare members are the first community residents to be offered the new Valley Medical Center photo identification card. This new card, which displays your photo and medical ID number, increases security and streamlines the admitting process across the hospital system. It also serves as GoldenCare membership identification. Please call 425.226.4653 to schedule a time to have your photo taken -- you'll receive your new photo ID card in minutes!
