Rehabilitation Services
Valley Medical Center's Rehabilitation Services teams of dedicated physicians and therapists provide patient-centered therapy to individuals who have disabling conditions and diseases—stroke, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, developmental delay, neuromuscular injuries, orthopedic injuries, work injuries, sports and recreation injuries, and speech and language problems, to name just a few.
Rehabilitation therapists work to improve the patient's health, functional performance, and participation in every day activities. Our therapy teams are committed to helping patients meet their own unique goals and reach their maximum level of function through the latest in therapeutic evaluation and treatment techniques. Our team approach to creating an individualized rehabilitation plan for each patient includes the important contribution of families and caregivers.
Our services include inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy and physical therapy, children's therapy, speech and language therapy, lymphedema management, and animal-assisted therapy.
