Judith Fleming, MD joined Southlake Clinic on December 1, 2008. Dr. Fleming is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine but finds she has special interests in geriatrics, cardiopulmonary diseases and gastroenterology.
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Fleming graduated from California State University in Los Angeles. She received her medical degree from University of California, Irvine College of Medicine in 2003. She then went on to complete her residency training in Internal Medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in 2006.
Prior to joining Southlake Clinic, Dr. Fleming worked as a hospitalist at Valley Medical Center for two years. On top of her busy schedule, Dr. Fleming finds time to volunteer at her kids’ school as well as sponsor a child in Zimbabwe.
“My philosophy of care is to make the needs of my patients come first and foremost. It is my goal to establish strong relationships with my patients and to be someone they feel comfortable talking to. I want my patients to feel that I listen to their needs and will be their advocate.”
Dr. Fleming and her husband, David, have two young children. She is a self-proclaimed soccer mom who also enjoys a good science fiction novel when she finds the time. In her free time, she enjoys singing, crocket, baking and doing crafts with her kids. They can also be found on any given weekend around the local children museums or enjoying the ever-rainy puddle-jumping weather the Northwest is known for.
