Valley Medical Center spends more than $12 million annually on charity care and community outreach, each a vital aspect of its mission.
Thanks to our community's passage of a levy in 2005, VMC has received funding to expand Emergency Services and continue to serve as South King county's lifeline in case of disaster. However, declining revenue from the federal and state governments, combined with an unprecedented rise in visits to Emergency Services, will continue to challenge the hospital's economic resources in future years.
The hospital and its network of specialty and primary care clinics continue to focus on providing high-caliber services to the 400,000 members of Public Hospital District Number 1. We appreciate your help in this critical effort by donating to Valley Medical Center.
