Evaluating Sleep Disorders
The Sleep Center at Valley Medical Center is a special medical facility designed to evaluate and treat people with sleep disorders and sleep-related problems. The rooms are set up like a home away from home, with creature comforts that include an LCD TV and DVD player, private bathroom and patchwork quilts. While patients sleep, sleep medicine technicians monitor their sleep patterns from a remote location. This video follows one patient's exerience and provides an overview of how sleep disorders are diagnosed.
