Minh Dao, DO, is a family medicine physician and her passion for family medicine stems from the ability to see and treat patients from all walks of life--from newborns and children for their well-child exams, to young women wishing to discuss birth control and women's health issues, to older patients for help in managing chronic conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. She strives to provide the best care for her patients by focusing on preventive health and healthy life choices. She believes that patients are the best advocates for their health, and as a physician her role is merely to help patients make the medical decisions that are right for them.
Dr. Dao is a native of Renton and completed her undergraduate studies at University of Washington, and she obtained her medical degree at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima. She returned to complete her family medicine residency at Valley Family Medicine and is excited to continue her medical practice here at Valley. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dao's interests include spending time with her husband and extended family who live within the area. She enjoys nature walks, gardening, cooking (at least trying to), and exploring new restaurants with good friends.
