Sandra Gerling, CNM, ARNP, was inspired to become a midwife by the desire to help women find their power. She enjoys helping women navigate the many decisions that must be made when considering contraception, pregnancy and maintaining lifelong health. By taking the time to listen, she helps guide women to where they want to be.
Prior to joining the Midwives Clinic at Valley Medical Center, Sandra served as a midwife at Group Health Cooperative, Tacoma, WA; Lumsden Maternity Centre, Lumsden, NZ; Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, Tuba City, AZ; and SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.
Sandi enjoys riding her bicycle, yoga, hiking, wood-working and reading. She lives with her husband and teenage daughter in Tacoma.
