    Biography

    Kristine King, MD, earned her medical degree from Colombia University. She completed an OB/GYN residency at Tufts University and a Medical Genetics residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. Her main interest is in hereditary cancer syndromes—especially presymptomatic genetic testing—which can empower patients to undertake risk-reduction interventions.

    A native of South King County, Dr. King is happy to have returned to her home town after nearly 14 years away. In her spare time she enjoys reading, jogging and hiking with her dog.

    Biography

    Alison Ryan, ARNP, earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Claremont McKenna College and a second bachelor’s degree in nursing from Duke University. She holds a Master of Science in nursing (MSN) degree from Vanderbilt University with a specialization in family practice. She is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and completed a postgraduate residency at Community Health Care in Tacoma, Washington. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing and of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In addition to her professional interests, she enjoys hiking, running, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
