    Biography

    Keith Boyd, DPT, works with patients of all ages, and of different backgrounds. He enjoys working with the young athlete, the injured worker, as well as the weekend warriors. He is an advocate for patients taking an active role in their rehab to help them reach their therapy goals and have the best quality of life.

    Keith has been a physical therapist since 2000, after graduating from University of New England in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. He lives in Covington and has been working in the Covington area for 14 years. He continues to take classes to improve his clinical skill set, as well as leadership classes. He lives with his wife and two children, and in his spare time enjoys playing softball, hiking, and being outdoors with the family.

    Biography

    Melissa Brown, PT, is a true "Washingtonian" born and raised in the Auburn/Enumclaw area and a 1989 graduate from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. Her 30 year career has been in the Puget Sound area serving patients of all ages in various work environments including inpatient, pool, home health, and the outpatient settings. She understands the importance of educating and encouraging her patients to not focus solely on their area of injury, limitations or pain but to take a positive healthy lifestyle approach for a long-lasting recovery experience. Melissa lives in Covington with her husband of 32 years whom she enjoys her free time with working in the yard, doing projects around their home and walking their 11-year-old black lab.

    Hannah Colopy, DPT, specializes in treating patients with orthopedic and sports injuries, and has a special interest in dance medicine and injury prevention. She enjoys working closely with patients of all ages and backgrounds to fully understand their goals, and believes in empowering her patients to take control of their wellness and longevity. She is passionate about incorporating lifestyle medicine principles into her treatment and using a collaborative health team approach to improve patients’ quality of life.

    Hannah is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, including the orthopedic and performing arts special interest groups. She is also a member of Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine where she serves on their community outreach and education committee and co-chairs the research committee.

    Hannah grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C. but spent the last eight years living in North Carolina, earning her doctoral degree in physical therapy from Duke University, and her bachelor degree in kinesiology with a minor in dance from University of North Carolina-Greensboro. She first developed her passion for movement through 18 years of training in classical ballet and contemporary dance. She was also a competitive soccer player, playing through high school varsity and university club levels. Hannah has recently relocated to Seattle and has enjoyed exploring all that the PNW has to offer.

    Liz Corwin, DPT, has an interest in orthopedic rehab, lifestyle medicine, vestibular rehab, sports rehab, and performing arts rehab. Ms. Corwin is an accomplished, innovative therapist driven to improve individuals’ quality of life. She is passionate about using a collaborative health team approach to empower her patients to take control of their health and thrive. She strongly believes in listening and working together with her patients to help them achieve their goals. She is a firm believer in the principles of lifestyle medicine and always tries to consider the “whole picture.”

    Ms. Corwin is a board-certified sports clinical specialist and a member of the International Association for Dance Science and Medicine. She serves on the board of directors for Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine where she also co-chairs their community outreach and education committee.

    Ms. Corwin graduated from Elon University with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2014 where she was awarded the “Outstanding Student Researcher” award for her work with dancers. She grew up in Oregon and holds two bachelor's degrees from University of Oregon, in dance and human physiology. She has been dancing her entire life, starting with classical training and then branching out to many other styles. She has a passion for working with performing artists in the clinic.     Megan Ferris, DPT, comes with 3 years of experience. Educated by the University of Puget Sound, holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and a Bachelor of Science and Kinesiology from Western Washington University, Megan is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of physical therapy patients.     Jennifer Gledhill, PTA was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, she worked as a personal trainer. She received her associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, WA in 2017. She has a special interest in geriatric care, post-operative rehabilitation and return to sport training.

    Biography

    Kyle Heise, DPT, OCS, CSCS, enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, with a special interest in the overhead athlete. He treats people of all ages and backgrounds. His treatment philosophy includes assessing and treating a person head to toe for the maximum rehabilitation outcome, and working together as a team to improve health and wellness. He utilizes functional rehabilitation techniques with a blend of neuromuscular retraining and manual therapy, and emphasizes patient education and empowerment to help his patients reach their goals.

    Kyle received his doctorate in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2008. He is board-certified in orthopedics, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He also holds a certification in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute and is trained through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association.

    Kalen Jolk, DPT, was born and raised in Maple Valley, Washington.     Jerry Kutzke, PTA, starting his career in 1995 working in an outpatient Physical Therapy clinic and has never looked back. He graduated from the Green River Community College Physical Therapy program in 1995. He really enjoys working with all types of injuries as each one is unique. He believes in developing relationships with each patient to understand their health needs and goals and working as a team to develop a plan to achieve their optimal state of health.

    Jerry grew up in Wisconsin and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work (BSW) in 1985 from the University of Wisconsin in Lacrosse. Jerry received a 2-year college scholarship to play baseball for UW-L. After receiving his BSW degree Jerry practiced social work for 10 years working with a variety of populations.     Biography

    Caleb Louvier, DPT, is our lead Physical Therapist. He looks at physical therapy through the lens of lifestyle medicine, believing that chronic inflammatory conditions start to improve when the whole individual starts to move and become healthier. He has pursued further clinical training in functional movement through both the Gray Institute and the Movement Systems approach. He is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of incoming patients with a special interest in orthopedic conditions in the lower extremities.

    In 2012, he received his doctorate in physical therapy from University of Puget Sound and his bachelor’s in health sciences from Corban University in 2008.

    Caleb grew up in SeaTac, WA playing every sport he could. He played collegiate soccer and spent a couple years playing at the semi-pro level. Outside of work he still loves to be active, playing softball and soccer whenever he has a chance. He also enjoys coaching his kids in soccer. He and his wife have three boys at home who he loves to spend the rest of his free time with.

    Alexis Mettler, RD, CDE, is a Seattle native and earned her Bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College. While attending the Seattle Culinary Academy, she discovered the field of dietetics; her nutrition instructor sparked the idea of helping people lead healthier lives through nutrition.     Kristi Paulson, PTA, has been an employee at Valley Medical Center as a Physical Therapy Assistant since 1978, earning her Associate of Applied Science degree from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Green River College in 1978. While at Valley, Kristi has been active in both the outpatient and inpatient therapy roles, recently working with the Total Joint Center as well as the Occupational Health Services departments.     Tessa Profita, DPT, graduated from University of Iowa with a BS in Exercise Physiology in 2013 (Go Hawkeyes!). She then went on to graduate with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, AZ in 2016.     Naeima Santana, RD, CDE, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator at Valley Lifestyle Medicine. Naeima graduated with her undergrad from Bastyr University in 2015 and moved on to complete a fast pace master’s degree program at Texas A&M University in 2016. She joined Valley in January 2019 and divides her time at both Maple Valley and Covington lifestyle medicine locations. Prior to Valley, Naeima worked as a consulting dietitian in South King county region where she earned experience in nutrition therapy for a wide variety of conditions including heart disease, renal disease, diabetes, obesity and many more. Naeima completed all the requirements and earned her title as a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2019.     Denise Sharff, PTA, completed her Associates of Science degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Green River community College in 1987. Denise has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, outpatient and skilled nursing which has given her the opportunity to experience a wide variety of conditions. While taking time off to raise her children she was able to return to coaching gymnastics.     Mary Walton, RD, CDE enjoys working with a wide range of patients and their families to provide education and encourage practical solutions that improve health and quality of life. She is experienced in working with diabetes, heart disease, weight loss, oncology, gastrointestinal disorders, food intolerance, pregnancy, addiction recovery, mindful eating and lifestyle change.

    Lauren Webb, DPT, works with patients of all ages who may need help with orthopedic/sports injuries, chronic pain, or health and fitness lifestyle changes.     Matt Weston, PT, has 19 years of experience and additional education in manual therapy, neuromuscular retraining, orthopedics and sports specific rehabilitation. Matt practices using an eclectic approach using these techniques that is tailored to each patient to achieve the highest level of function and ability.

Matt lives in the area with his wife and two young daughters. In his spare time Matt enjoys running, hiking, biking, and generally playing outside with his family.
