Haris Ahmad, DO, is a family medicine physician at Valley Family Medicine. He was born in Pakistan, but soon after moved to Kent, Washington. He earned his bachelor’s degree at University of Washington, and received his doctoral degree from Pacific Northwest University, Yakima.
He has seen this area develop exponentially since he first moved to the Pacific Northwest and he is happy to be able to practice medicine in his hometown. Valley Medical Center is where many of his family members were born, and he looks forward to building similar relationships with future generations being born at VMC. Working in family medicine at Valley Medical Center allows him to explore his passions in preventive medicine, build relationships with a diverse patient population, and help them to make the best health decisions for themselves given their circumstances. Outside of medicine he enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with family and friends.
