Yuriy Golub, DO, is a family medicine physician at Valley Family Medicine. He was born in Ukraine but moved to the Pacific Northwest with his family as a child. Coming from a small village, he had a passion to become a doctor who could care for everyone and build lasting relationships. He graduated from University of Washington with a major in microbiology and a minor in Slavic literature. He then attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University, where he had numerous opportunities to go abroad and serve impoverished villages in Romania, where his desire to develop a broad knowledge base to better serve diverse populations was strengthened.
Dr. Golub is thrilled to stay in the Pacific Northwest for his training at Valley Family Medicine, with its diverse population and wonderful staff. He has always felt family medicine to be a perfect fit for him. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, road trips and exploring the wealth of landscapes the Northwest has to offer. Indoors, he loves playing board games, tinkering around on a piano, watching the Seattle Seahawks, and settling down with a good book.
