Kate Landau, PA-C, has a passionate interest in vascular medicine, vascular surgery and especially caring for patients with vascular disease. It was the patients that initially attracted Kate to vascular surgery as her first career in medicine. She found that by working with exceptional surgeons, she was able to make a significant difference and positive impact on the lives of patients with complex conditions.
Originally from upstate New York, Kate received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University where she was pre-med and a top student-athlete. She then moved to Oakland, CA where she attended Samuel Merritt University and received her master’s degree. Kate practiced as a vascular surgery physician assistant from 2002-2012, after which she had her daughter and moved to Washington for a better quality of life and continue working in Vascular Surgery. While in Washington, Kate found her love of running again and is a nationally-ranked marathon runner. Kate enjoys staying active with her daughter as well as running and hiking with her dog.
