Jocelyn Ramirez, CNM, ARNP earned her advanced nurse practitioner education at the University of Washington in 2005 and is a board certified in Midwifery. She was introduced to the role of Midwives when volunteering in public health and women's health clinics during college. After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Jocelyn went on to complete an Accelerated, one-year BSN program at Regis College. For the last eight years, she lived in Southwest Colorado and worked for a community hospital midwifery group that predominantly cared for the under-served Latina population. Jocelyn is amazed at the power and strength that women have during pregnancy and birth, and is honored to be able to share that experience with her patients.
Jocelyn has four children all delivered by midwives. She spends most of her free time watching her kids play soccer, lacrosse, hockey, gymnastics and skis in the winter. In her alone time enjoys yoga, hiking and running.
