Physical Therapist - Lead
Caleb Louvier is our lead Physical Therapist. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012 from the University of Puget Sound and a bachelor’s in Health Sciences from Corban University in 2008. He played collegiate soccer and spent a couple years playing at the semi-pro level. He has spent the past 6 years working in the outpatient setting. Caleb is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of physical therapy patients. When he is not at work, he likes to play soccer, softball and swim. He also has a wife and 3 boys at home that he loves to spend his free time with.
Megan earned her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Western Washington
University in 2009 and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from
University of Puget Sound in 2014. She believes in a functional, movement based
and patient centered approach to rehabilitate current musculoskeletal injuries
as well as work to prevent reinjury or future injury. Megan enjoys working with
a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions as well as has an
interest in working with Adaptive Athletes, in both an injury prevention and
injury rehabilitation capacity. Megan aims to incorporate a variety of
treatment methods to assist you in getting back to the activities you
Tessa grew up in the suburbs of Chicago as an avid gymnast. Rehabilitating an injury she endured while doing gymnastics sparked her passion for anatomy, biomechanics and rehab. As she began her journey to become a Physical Therapist, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Physiology at University of Iowa in 2013. She then branched out to the western side of the country to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, AZ in 2016. Since then, she has settled down in the pacific northwest where she continues to embrace being active, especially while outdoors. She also loves to explore new places and try new foods of all different origins. Tessa enjoys challenging her patients through exercise to help them become self-sufficient and achieve their goals.
Physical Therapy Aide
Amy has 11 years of
experience earning her associates degree in Applied Science, and Physical
Therapy Assistant from Green River College. Amy is responsible for the
treatment of physical therapy patients. Amy enjoys camping, spending time with
family, snowshoeing, and traveling.
Physical Therapy Aide
Kristi has been an employee at Valley Medical Center as a Physical Therapy Assistant since 1978, earning her Associate of Applied Science degree from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Green River College. While at Valley, Kristi has been active in both the outpatient and inpatient therapy roles, recently working with the Total Joint Center as well as the Occupational Health Services. Kristi came to the Lifestyle Medicine Department in 2017, and is enjoying her role with her patients as a PTA. When Kristi isn’t working, she is spending time traveling with her husband or enjoying time with her 3 grandchildren.

Registered Dietitian & Certified Diabetes Educator

Courtney is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with a passion for Health and Wellness. Earning a Bachelors in Food Science and Human Nutrition in 2004 from Washington State University, Courtney joined Valley Medical Center in 2006. Courtney is passionate about helping others and meeting patients at any stage of health. Outside of work Courtney enjoys spending time with her two daughters, and high intensity exercise.
Coach, Registered Dietitian
Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition &
Metabolism from Washington State University, and his Master of Science in
Exercise Science & Human Movement from Western Washington University. He is
certified as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Registered Clinical Exercise
Physiologist, Certified Diabetes Educator, and Health & Wellness Coach.
Michael enjoys evaluating the dietary needs of patients enrolled in the
Lifestyle Medicine Clinic's Healthy Foundations Program to help them create
healthy and delicious meal plans
Mary is a Registered Dietitian at the Lifestyle Medicine Center.
She graduated from Bastyr University with a wealth of holistic nutrition
knowledge including specialties such as Ayurveda nutrition, whole foods
cooking, gardening and botany. She worked as a nutrition and fitness educator
in the Newark, NJ school system where she led fun, hands on classes and
workshops to reduce childhood obesity and the risk of developing type 2
diabetes. Her clinical experience includes 2 years with Robertwood Johnson
University Hospital in NJ where she worked with all ages and inpatient
specialties as well as provided outpatient diabetes counseling with a focus on
gestational diabetes. When she is not working, Mary enjoys growing food,
cooking, hiking, yoga and being a mother. Fun fact: on sunny days, you may see
Mary in parks balancing and doing yoga on a slackline between the trees.
Alexis is a Seattle
native and earned her Bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State
College. While attending the Seattle Culinary Academy, she
discovered the field of dietetics; her nutrition instructor sparked the idea of
helping people lead healthier lives through nutrition. Alexis went
on to earn a Master’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University in 2012, with
clinical nutrition internship training at Oregon State University. Outside of
work her interests include, cooking, running, hiking, and chasing after young
Registered Dietitian & Exercise Specialist
Ethan graduated from Washington State University in 2016 with a
Masters in Dietetics and Nutrition. He earned his bachelors from WSU in
Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. Ethan also works as an exercise physiologist
for Cardiac Rehab. His knowledge in exercise and nutrition make him a great
resource for Healthy Foundation participants.
