    Biography

    Jessica Brower, ARNP, started her career as a nurse in 2010. While gaining RN experience in acute care she earned her master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her special interests and passions in healthcare include cancer prevention, cancer research, patient counseling and education. Jessica values spending time getting to know her patients to work collaboratively to create an individualized care plan for each patient. She believes that excellent healthcare starts with caring, compassion, and empathy. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys yoga, spinning, hiking, and spending time with her family.

    Biography

    Katia R. Dergham, MS, LCGC, is a genetic counselor specializing in hereditary cancer syndromes. She works with patients and their families to provide risk assessment, counseling, and education based on their genetic information with an emphasis on early detection and preventive management recommendations. Katia is a board-certified genetic counselor through the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) and member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC).

    Originally from Southern California, Katia relocated to New York in the pursuit of a career in genetic counseling. After completing her genetic counseling graduate education at Sarah Lawrence College, she began her career at the Columbia University Medical Center where she was involved in clinic work, graduate training, and research. Outside of work, Katia enjoys, cooking, DIY projects, and hiking. She is thrilled to be back on the West (best) Coast and is eager to explore her new home in the Pacific Northwest.

    Biography

    Alison Ryan, ARNP, earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Claremont McKenna College and a second bachelor’s degree in nursing from Duke University. She holds a Master of Science in nursing (MSN) degree from Vanderbilt University with a specialization in family practice. She is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and completed a postgraduate residency at Community Health Care in Tacoma, Washington. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing and of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In addition to her professional interests, she enjoys hiking, running, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
