I am a PNW newbie hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah! Growing up as a moody arts-lover, with a bit of a contrarian streak, I found my way to medicine only after realizing its fundamental interconnection with the humanities. I completed my undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Philosophy (one major!), and a minor in Text and Traditions. From there, I moved to Arlington, VA where I worked for a year as a medical assistant, and then headed back home to Salt Lake City for medical school. I knew I was destined for family medicine after considering careers in internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics; my passion for family medicine stems from its dedication to the entirety of existence. Infinitely fascinated by the human experience, I seek to understand life at the intersections of art and science.
Outside of medicine I find joy in: hiking, reading, face masks, good playlists, snacking, and window shopping. I’m overjoyed to be continuing my education and my past times in the greater Seattle area with the Valley Medical Center team.
