Josephine Evangelista, ARNP, has extensive nursing experience in critical care, management of chronic diseases, and palliative care for adult and geriatric patients in ambulatory and hospital settings. She believes in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of her patients through establishing relationship and understanding their condition and goals of care, and working together with the medical team to support patients in achieving their optimal health.
She completed her bachelor’s degree at University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines and her Master’s Degree in nursing and nurse practitioner (NP) at University of California Los Angeles ( UCLA). She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and served as clinical preceptor for NP students at UCLA. She hold a national certification with American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an adult nurse practitioner and is a member of American Nurses Association (ANA) and Hospice and Palliative Nurse Association ( HPNA).
Josie was born and raised in the Philippines and speaks fluent Tagalog. She enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, shopping, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She supports fundraising activities for charitable causes for non-profit organizations.
