    Jason Thompson, MD is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon who specializes in the care of patients with simple or complex problems of the neck or back. As an expert in the care of the spine, he may prescribe treatments including physical therapy, spinal injections, medications or massage, or he may perform surgical procedures including decompression, disc replacement, scoliosis correction or spinal fusion. Dr. Thompsonhas special interests in treating young adults with scoliosis and in using cutting-edge technology to reduce the "footprint" of spinal surgery.

    Recognizing that each patient is unique, he helps each person develop an individualized treatment plan. Whether a patient comes to him with leg cramps from stenosis or a numb arm from a blown-out disc in the neck, his goal is helping people regain their maximum potential.

    Sherry Tillinghast, LMHC, is experienced in treating a variety of mental health issues. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. After completing her studies, Sherry served as a counselor at the Health Resource Center in Cincinnati before relocating to southwest Virginia, where she worked as a family services specialist for the Giles County Department of Social Services and as an EAP consultant for Carilion Clinic. In her spare time, Sherry enjoys being outdoors, reading, spoiling her two cats, listening to music and podcasts, and traveling. Sherry’s favorite outdoor activity is hiking. In 2018, she completed Virginia’s Triple Crown by hiking McAfee Knob, Dragon Tooth, and Tinker Cliff. In less than two weeks of relocating to Washington, Sherry completed two hikes at Mount Rainer.     Dr. Toulouse is a Washington native. He attended college at Whitman College in Walla Walla, graduating with honors in Chemistry in 1976. He attended Medical School at St. Louis University from 1976 to 1980. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in Omaha, Nebraska at Creighton University.

    He moved back to this area in 1983 and opened his own practice in Internal Medicine. In 1997, he joined Southlake Clinic. Dr. Toulouse is board-certified in Internal Medicine. He enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and has an interest in preventive care and cholesterol metabolism.
