Lama Alameddine, PsyD, is a clinical neuropsychologist at UW Medicine Valley Medical Center, Neuroscience Institute. She takes a holistic and collaborative approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of creating safe space for patients and their families.

Dr. Alameddine received her doctoral degree in Berkeley, California, where she also spent most of her life. She later completed her residency at North Texas VA hospital, and her fellowship in the Neurology Department of University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Practicing in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings allowed Dr. Alameddine the privilege of working with patients from different cultural and socioeconomical backgrounds. Dr. Alameddine subspecializes in the cognitive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals living with varying dementia processes and movement disorders. She also completes pre-surgical evaluations for folks undergoing deep brain stimulation surgery (DBS), and she created and runs a dementia care program to help support patients and their families navigate care.

Her interests outside of health care include playing music, attending concerts, art, everything outdoors, traveling, cooking (mostly Lebanese food), and spending time with her kids and pets! She also speaks Lebanese Arabic.
