The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

This year's survey is composed of four main categories measuring:

  • Resiliency and wellness: Progress on our action plans to support clinician resiliency and wellness by providing a composite of questions with national benchmarks, and solution starters for addressing findings
  • Engagement in clinical practice: The degree to which our clinicians feel they have true ownership of their clinical work
  • Alignment with the organization: How connected respondents feel with their clinical work location by indicating the degree to which they support the mission of the organization and feel they have the opportunity to give input on key decisions that affect their clinical work environment
  • New! Connection with our residents and fellows: How our work to make UW Medicine the Employer of Choice for the nation's best clinicians is informed by the voices of our residents and fellows

The UW Medicine Patients Are First Physician Engagement Team is again partnering with Press Ganey to conduct our annual clinician engagement survey. Press Ganey is the nation's largest healthcare survey vendor, and UW Medicine's partnership with them provides several advantages:

  • Scientifically tested question design/survey process
  • Advanced benchmark capabilities—UW Medicine has immediate access to both the national and academic medical center benchmarks for comparisons
  • Mobile-friendly survey design—survey may be taken on any device
  • Survey is completely anonymous by design—filters/demographics cannot be used to identify individual responses

Thank you in advance for your participation in the survey.
