With the government shutdown, many telehealth visits are not currently covered by Medicare. We are contacting impacted patients to help you avoid any unexpected charges. In many cases, telehealth appointments can be changed to an in-person visit. Please contact your clinic if you have questions or want to change or reschedule an appointment.

Healthcare is on the ballot this November. Learn about Hospital Prop 1.

Celebrating our unique tapestry of staff, clinicians, and volunteers at Valley who provide remarkable care for our community.

“WE” symbolizes Valley’s strength as an organization that comes from the unique perspectives, talents, and backgrounds of our caregivers and the community we serve. These qualities are essential to our mission of caring for our community like family. We are a place of healing, and we care for people regardless of who they are or why they need care.

At Valley, we are committed to fostering a culture that embraces belonging, celebrates individuality, and acknowledges there is great strength in differing points of view.

Each one of us is a caregiver and that comes with immense responsibility. We set bones, we mend hearts, we prevent disease, we bring people back from the brink of death, and sometimes we help them say good-bye. We are very proud that our workforce is reflective of the patient populations we serve and very grateful for the opportunity to positively impact health and well-being.

Creating a Culture That Cares for Our Community Like Family

A vibrant, inclusive, collaborative culture requires that we treat those we work side by side with and care for with respect, empathy, courtesy, and compassion. Several key initiatives help foster this and serve as reminders throughout the year of our mission and purpose:

  • Caregiver Commitment: Every Valley employee signs an annual pledge which includes upholding our mission and vision, treating people with respect and compassion, and prioritizing our core value of safety.
  • Social drivers of health are the everyday factors that affect an individual's health that helps us assess how easily a patient can get the care they need. These include things like where you live, access to food and housing, education, income and job stability, and access to healthcare.
  • Interpreter Services: Residents across Valley's hospital district speak 180 different languages and support our diverse community, we offer free interpreter services to all patients. At registration, we ask about your preferred language for talking about your health with your provider. If you prefer an interpreter, we will gladly provide one. Most of our interpreter services are offered remotely via video, allowing us to provide support in hundreds of languages.
