The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

The Physiatry Clinic will be closing, effective February 28, 2020. Dr. Cheryl Hayes and Patrick Czaplicki, PA-C, have been with Valley since 2016, and in that time have provided outstanding care for our community. At this time, we will not be able to accept any new Physiatry Clinic patient referrals. Dr. Hayes has plans to open a smaller practice in the near future and Patrick Czaplicki, PA-C, will be transitioning to another role within Valley Medical Center.
During this transition period, we will try to accommodate as many patients as possible in our Occupational Health, Rheumatology and Neurology Clinics.
Below are suggested guidelines for future referrals commonly seen by Physiatry:
Occupational Health | Rheumatology | Neurology |
L&I | Joint Pain | Migraine |
For any conditions not listed above, we recommend referring to UW Medicine’s Center for Pain Relief or Sports Medicine Clinics, or to other physiatrists in the area.
