The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

We have closed the facilities to our fitness memberships effective Wednesday, March 18. This includes the Fitness Center on the main VMC campus, and at Maple Valley and Covington. Access to the exercise equipment, pool, saunas and locker rooms will all be closed for two weeks, or possibly longer.
We are abiding by Governor Jay Inslee’s emergency proclamation to temporarily closing restaurants, bars, entertainment centers, and recreational facilities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
During this time, Lifestyle Medicine staff will be reaching out to clients remotely through the Technogym MyWellness platform. Lifestyle 365 members will receive updated individualized programming and our Exercise Specialists will be reaching out to our general membership in the coming days with fun and practical ways to continue working toward your health goals without the need of facility access. In addition, we will be offering telehealth style sessions and in-person one-on-one Lifestyle Conditioning with an Exercise Specialist. For more information and next steps in scheduling a visit with our team please contact FitnessCenter@valleymed.org.
If you prefer to put your membership on hold, during this temporary closure please email your request to FitnessCenter@valleymed.org.
