On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

Now that we're finally coming up for some air from our initial COVID-19 response, we are pleased to congratulate Cameron Buck, Valley's Emergency Department Medical Director and emergency medicine specialist, named April's Provider of the Month! Cameron worked countless hours during the last several months to help prepare and succeed during the first wave of the COVID-19 crisis. While Cameron is very humble and shies away from any recognition, he is so deserving of this award. He truly exemplifies Valleys mission of caring for our community like family. As Cameron's nominator writes, "Cameron is by far one of the hardest working, selfless, dedicated physicians we have in the Emergency Department here at Valley. We are so lucky to have him!!"
