On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.

What is new: Clean Slate UV is a great device for disinfecting many of the tools we use in less than a minute with ultraviolet light. Ultraviolet radiation kills viruses by chemically modifying their genetic material, DNA and RNA.
How do I use it?
- Lift the hood all the way up and insert your badge, phone, stethoscope, etc.
- Close hood slowly and controlled to prevent damage to the machine.
- To disinfect your N95, it will require you to run 5 cycles consecutively.
