On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.
Informatics Update: PT Referral Optimization
The clinic PT Referral orders in Epic have been updated to make it easier for providers to select the correct referral and clinic location.
Search for ‘pt ref’ to see the internal and external PT referral orders:
The internal PT Referral has speed buttons for Rehab Services, Lifestyle Medicine, and OHS.
Providers will need to re-save any Physical Therapy Referral ‘favorites’ on their preference lists. Please email AskInformatics@valleymed.org if you have any questions.
