A new COVID-19 status indicator will appear in the Storyboard starting Oct. 27. The goal is to provide quick, at-a-glance information regarding the patient’s COVID status.

This indicator is separate from Infection status and will always display a value. Other infection statuses that you are accustomed to seeing are displayed separately. The values for COVID are color-coded and include date information, where relevant.

Hovering over the COVID-19 status in the Storyboard will provide additional information. Active COVID Lab orders and prior COVID results will also be displayed.
