The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

A consult to the Ethics Committee is now available in Epic, under ancillary consults. This consult is available for all clinical roles. When you go to your “Manage Orders” tab, just search for Ethics. In the past, the Ethics Committee was only available for a consult via email, which you can still contact at ethics@valleymed.org. Ethics consultation is currently available Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM, and is not available on observed holidays. Responses to ethics consult orders can be expected within one business day.
