The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

General & Colorectal Surgical Associates Update
After more than 37 years with Valley Medical Center, Dr. Michael Burke retired December 31, 2021. During this time, he has provided outstanding care for thousands of patents in our community, advanced numerous surgical techniques, championed surgical robotics, and served as the chairman of our Department of Surgery.
Although we are sad to see Dr. Burke leave, your patients will continue to receive excellent care from our General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery teams. The staff appreciates your ongoing referrals with the provider who will best fit your patients’ needs.
