Telehealth Video Client Change in Epic

Valley has transitioned from Zoom to Epic Video for telehealth video visits. Why did we transition?
- Lower cost
- Improved usability for patients/providers
- Improved security--providers no longer need to admit patients to the session
Providers will continue to select the "Connect to Video" button on the iPad or in Epic on the computer.
A hardware test window will appear in the Internet browser: Safari on iPad, Edge/Chrome on computer. (Note: Does not work with Internet Explorer.)
After selecting "Join Call" the Epic video will open.
