Lindsey Whitney, RN, BSN, Ambulatory Quality Manager gave a retrospective summary of the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Demonstration Project at the Primary Care Provider meeting on Oct. 11. The DPP was grant-funded here at Valley for the last four years by the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM), the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI). The program will continue to be offered to patients in coordination with our Lifestyle Medicine program and the YMCA. Here are the presentation VIDEO and the SLIDES.
