The Desimone Levee on the Green River failed and is under repair. The hospital is above the flood zone and currently in no danger of flooding. We evacuated our Time Square and Kent Station Clinics and our Lind Avenue locations. Several locations are experiencing staffing issues due to severe traffic impacts. Impacted patients are being contacted to reschedule appointments. Please be safe, do not drive or walk through standing water, and call 9-1-1 if you need emergency evacuation assistance.

The M Factor: Menopause Documentary

10/13/2024

We are excited to share an important educational opportunity on menopause care, featuring the groundbreaking documentary "The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause." This film is the first-ever to be accredited by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) to offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.

On October 17 at 1 PM EST (10 AM PST), FSMB will host a free 90-minute CME webinar for healthcare professionals. By attending, you will receive 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits toward license renewal. Thought leaders in menopause care—including Dr. Stephanie Faubion from Mayo Clinic, Dr. Wen Shen from Johns Hopkins Medicine, and FSMB board members—will present evidence-based strategies for managing menopause, addressing disparities in care for women of color, and understanding the long-term health risks associated with menopause.

Registration is now open: Register Here.

This session will help you:

  • Improve menopause treatment using evidence-based practices.
  • Address healthcare disparities among Black, Hispanic, and Asian women.
  • Recognize the lifelong health risks of menopause, including cardiovascular disease and bone loss.

The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause will also be available to watch starting October 17 on PBS (without CME credit).
