Provider of the Month - January 2024
Ariel Brantley-Dalglish, ARNP, CNM, Valley Women's Healthcare Clinic

Congratulations to Ariel Brantley-Dalglish, ARNP, CNM, a clinician at our Valley Women's Healthcare Clinic in Auburn and our January 2024 Provider of the Month!

See what her patient had to say: "I have been meaning to write this for a long time. I had my 2nd baby back in September and was about to be discharged when Ariel came in to check on me before I left. I vividly remember laying in the bed, very tired from a long night the night before, overwhelmed at the thought of bringing home another baby and having 2 kids now, etc. Ariel walked in and honest to God, it felt like an angel appeared at my bedside. She looked at me with such intention and care. She listened to me. She asked thoughtful questions that weren't just about my physical health, but also my mental health. I've never had a doctor, PA or NP treat me in the kind and caring way that she did. She asked me questions that assured her that I would be ok at home with the new baby, in case I perhaps wasn't equipped to handle it. She wanted to be sure I'd be ok and taken care of. It felt like she cared about me as a person - not just a patient who needed to physically recover.  It was as if she was an angel, checking on me and asking me all the hard questions that many others tend to not be willing to ask. She spoke so softly and with such care. She put me at ease and almost made me want to cry because I had never felt so cared for and seen as a patient and human being. She was encouraging and understanding. She really reached me in a way that no other provider has before. I was almost shocked after she left my room because I wondered if it was a dream. She was that pleasant, helpful and reassuring. Valley Medical is beyond lucky to have her on staff. She is such a good one and I want her to know how much I appreciated her in that moment and still do. Ariel, keep up the hard work. I know it takes extra work treating your patients the way you treated me. But thank you for making such a positive impact on my experience at Valley this time around. I will never forget how thankful I felt for you."

See what her team had to say: "Ariel is a thoughtful provider who is especially skilled at meeting patients where they are in order to provide the best possible care. She sees the larger picture and has useful ideas on how to improve systems and make it all work better. She is a team player who considers her partners as well as patients in all of her decisions."
