On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.
Medical Staff Dining Area Temporary Relocation
Effective Monday, April 15, the dining area for medical staff in Trendz cafe* is being temporarily moved to the TV dining room, while construction is being done to the dietitians’ office.
This transition will be in place until April 29 or further notice. The two computer workstations in the current medical staff area will be set up in the temporary dining area and signs will be posted on the doors.
*The memo that was emailed on April 12 erroneously named the cafeteria as Plaza cafe.
