On April 22 we had a pipe elbow failure in our Emergency Department (ED) causing a significant water leak. Crews are assessing the impact and we are in the process of water abatement. Our ED is open, but several rooms are currently offline which could increase wait times. Some surgeries are also being rescheduled.
EV Charging Stations Now Cost $3/Hour
Beginning June 9, Valley will implement a $3 per hour fee for electric vehicles using charging stations located throughout the main campus. This is a change from the current system which allows EV drivers to access 4 hours of free charging.
Why was this change made?
Over the past 5 years, Valley has subsidized more than $141,000 in free charging as part of the Go Green program. The change in the current fee structure is necessary to make vehicle charging cost neutral.
