She was born in India and moved to the United States with her family when she was very young, settling in Bellevue, Washington. Growing up as the daughter of two physicians, she learned the value of hard work and giving back to others at an early age. She attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she majored in cognitive science and volunteered teaching health workshops in local high schools. After college, she spent a year as an AmeriCorps member helping older adults at a day health center and another year working for the nonprofit Project Access Northwest in Seattle. Dr. Choudhury chose family medicine for several reasons. She values close relationships and, through her work, seeks to develop meaningful bonds with her patients over a lifetime. Additionally, her previous volunteer work helped her to understand the importance of social determinants of health, which are best addressed in primary care. Most of all, she hopes to keep her patients happy and healthy in the community, regardless of who they are, their age or background. She is thrilled to return to the Pacific Northwest and complete her training at Valley Medical Center. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors, hiking, running, camping, swimming and biking. Biography

Andrea Cistulli, DO, MPH, is a family medicine physician at Valley Family Medicine. She grew up in Southern California, spending time in both Fresno and Los Angeles. She completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry, minoring in developmental psychology at San Diego State University. After college she worked at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), connecting patients with much needed resources, helping them to navigate the different challenges they faced, and listening to their stories. Her experiences at PANCAN shaped her interest in working with patients and families throughout their lives and across a diverse range of backgrounds. She attended medical school at A.T. Still University, where she also received a master’s degree in public health. During medical school, she was able to work with patients with diverse backgrounds, but primarily spent time working with an underserved population in Washington, DC.

Dr. Cistulli is happy to begin a career that allows her to care for everyone across the age span! In her spare time, she enjoys eating delicious food, doing hot yoga, being outdoors, and watching mixed martial arts and movies.
