Christian Quintero, MD, is a board-certified urogynecologist with special interest in minimally-invasive gynecology as well as complex urogynecological conditions. Dr. Quintero’s main interests are robotic-assisted laparoscopy and vaginal reconstructive surgery as well as office-based procedures.
Among the conditions that Dr. Quintero treats are abnormal vaginal bleeding, uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and symptomatic pelvic organ prolapse (bladder, rectal or uterine descent). He also specializes in bladder issues including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and painful bladder disorders. Additionally, he treats patients with history of obstetric trauma with labial, vagina, or perineal lacerations requiring surgical repairs.
“Dr. Q’s” goal is to provide holistic care and improve the quality of life of women with complex gynecological conditions to achieve a healthy and fulfilling live. He is interested in LGBTQ health and treating transgender patients.
Dr. Quintero grew up in Colombia, South America and received his medical degree from Pontificia Javeriana University in Bogota Colombia. He later moved to the US where he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Quintero holds board certification in OB/GYN and female pelvic medicine, and in reconstructive surgery. He also completed an MBA from University of Nevada School of Business. Dr. Quintero has held academic appointments at Temple University hospital, University of Nevada School of Medicine, and Florida Atlantic University.
When Dr. Q is not in the office or at the hospital you can often find him outdoors spending time with his family. His passions are traveling, exploring, and learning about new cultures. He also enjoys painting, hiking, and going to the gym.
